If you've lived in Nederland for more than a year, you already know what a normal summer looks like here: concerts at Chipeta on Saturdays, a parade down First Street on the Fourth, the farmers market spilling across the lot from May through September. What's different this year is the map. The businesses you used to walk between are no longer where you left them.
The October 2025 fire at Caribou Village Shopping Center pushed several longtime Ned tenants out of their spaces, and most of them spent the winter figuring out where to land. A lot of them landed in the same building. That building is why this summer feels like a soft reintroduction of the town to itself.
